Recently launched in beta, this UK-based DIY home decor website provides consumers with the tools to try out potential home furnishings, accessories, and color and fabric choices online before having to actually make a purchase. Site visitors can design a 3D model room which can then be virtually decorated with tens of thousands of furnishings and product selections from over 500 MyDeco home retail partners (ranging from high-end to mid-range to specialty manufacturers). Once satisfied with the "photo-realistic" look of their virtual rooms, visitors can purchase desired home decor products through the site. MyDeco.com also has a community component where members can swap tips and receive advice from established home decorators.
